      Ruthless,nomadic,the ways of the mongol. Mongols took over various places and showed no mercy doing it. But even though they were feared all through out the eastern hemisphere, are they really a civilization?

         Mongols have killed people with all sorts of technology, but none of the technology was invented by them. Mongols did not invent things, because mongols are a non technological society. Even though, they will except any type of technology. For example the bow and arrow. The bow and arrow were one of the reasons why the mongol military was so successful. A mongols skill with a bow and arrow was phenomenal. If you would have seen a mongol with a bow and arrow in his hand, on horse back and you were his target you would be dead.

        Is the mongol empire really a civilization? I think not, because they have no social class. I think this for a couple of reasons. The first reason is they were nomads, so they travel a lot. Second, they took over various places around the world, for example they took over parts of China,Europe,and Russia. So there couldn't be a social class,because every place had different jobs and customs. This is why they cant be a civilization, because there is no social class.

       Mongol emperors had a passionate interest in art. They would put it all around the home, to show how much they loved it. Types of arts mongols had were,Calligraphy, and Khadg. Khadg is with different type of materials, like bronze silver or gold. It also made sculptures look like there alive. One of the greatest Mongolian artist known as Bogdo Gegen Zanabazar. He lived from 1635-1723. Bogdo was known for his golden statues that looked  alive, because of it's feature and action of what it's doing.

       Mongols had a monarchy government. In 1206 A.D Even though the mongols were nomads they declared Genghis Khan as there ruler. Khan led a seduction of an empire. The mongol 1279 they had all of China,Russia,Iran, and Iraq. They were able to this because there military was so fast,ferocious, and showed no mercy. With out that government the mongols wouldn't have been able to be so successful in there battles.

         Mongolian writing was created almost 5,000 years ago. Writing had a major affect on Mongolian culture. It changed how they fought,worked, and there every day jobs. It's still unknown when the writing was exactly invented. The Mongolian alphabet has 27 letters, 22 consonants and 5 vowels. They call this writing system the Khalkha Mongolian.

         Mongols always had this saying.” Keep breakfast for yourself, share lunch with your friends,and give dinner to your enemy”. Mongols most important meals were breakfast and lunch. They had boiled mutton with a lot of fat and flour and some times dairy or rice. Some mongols added horse meat to there meal as well. Mongolians drank a lot of tea, the classic drink was suutei tsai. If you were a man and you didn't want to drink arkhi, you would be called a wimp.

         Mongols had four religions Buddhism, Shamanism,Muslim,and Christianity. Most mongols believe in Buddhism, and it's teachings. Buddhism teaches that suffering is caused when desire stops. Meditation, and wisdom can stop you from suffering. Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus and the old and new testament. Shamanism are teachings,saying meditation between the spirit and visible world is effected by shamans.

       The mongols influenced not only the eastern hemisphere but the whole world. There art is shown all through out the world in art museums. The way they used the bow and arrow was so efficient people try to learn how to use it like the mongols did it. They showed small tribes can become the most power full and feared for a longtime. This is ancient Mongolia.

         Reading and writing is another dimension for your mind. Action,drama,and mystery all these things set you over the seat that is pressuring you to read about. It's like a simulation but, you use your brain instead of technology.

       So far I've learned that reading and writing is knowledge,entertaining,and key to a successful life. Eminem for example he dropped out of school,but since he reads and loves to write he is successful and rich, to this day.

        Writing is a wave in the water . When I write the words just flow, and connect to the body of the type of writing. I feel unstoppable when I write I'm in charge. I write because I want to be heard and recognized in this world,and I feel this is how I do it. Writing is very important to me, I love it more than most things I do

        Some of the failures I had with reading is not finishing a book,because I didn't like it. At that point I just got tired of it,and decided to just stop reading. This year my comm. Skills teacher has encouraged me to read. Now any book I get I want to finish it till the end. That as helped me my sri score get even higher.

         A negative memory is when I'm looking for something to read at the library and every book I ask for, its checked out. I wouldn't want to read at that point because every book I had some one else had it. I wouldn't want to read then, but I could write so I started to write story's and poems. With out that negative I wouldn't have this positive, of being a writer.

These two things are my passions, I enjoy doing them both.When I do them they just make me want to smile.

       Have you ever wondered how Sumer became a known civilization through out the world?It is known because,it prospered in seven things to become a civilization. Those things are government,religion,arts,technology,stable food supply,social structures,and writing. This is why Sumer is known all around the world.

       It is important to have a government, to lead people's attitude in the right the direction to make life orderly. Sumer city states were lead by kings, the kings enforced the laws and collected taxes just how many civilizations do now. Kings were even in charge of the army to fight for land boundaries, and needs of water. Kings had people under them to help with his responsibilities. This is even how our president has people under him like the vice president. Kings had scribes who recorded laws, and group of officials looked for damages on made sure farmers didn't take water illegally. With out the kings and government Sumer wont be what it was.

          It is important to have technology,to help live and advance in life. Sumerians most valuable invention was the wheel. The wheel goes back to 3500 B.C.E, artist used it as a platform to make clay. They figured out that when you turn the wheel right side up it's able to roll. It was later used for chariots and carts for the army and farmers. With out the wheel things would be harder and more difficult to do. If we didn't have the wheel now things would be longer and harder to transport.

           It is important to have a social structure to have a finished civilization. Sumer had three types of class which are upper class,middle class,and lower class. Upper class had people who were known the most and made a lot of money. In upper class were land owners, priest, and government officials. People in that class lived in beautiful homes and also lived close to the middle of the city. After the upper class there was the middle class, also known as the common class where most people were at. The people that were in the middle class in Sumer were,merchants,crafts people,fisher men,and farmers. Middle class did a lot, like making jewelery for the upper class. Instead of upper class people from the middle class were forced to be in the army. Now the lowest class for Sumer were the lower class, that was mostly slaves. Slaves had ownership of nothing. Slaves lived in there owners house and did what they were told to do. Every civilization has a social structure some might be different a little but there all the same.

            It is important to have religion to guide our daily lives. Sumer believed in gods so they tried to make the gods happy in every way they can. Sumerians tried to make gods happy by resolving arguments and harvesting crops. They practiced their religious belies by constructing temples called ziggurats. Sumerians thought that gods lived in these ziggurats so they made a temple for gods to live in. They built ladders so gods can climb down to earth. Gods were even prayed to by the kings and priest out side the temple to get a gods blessing. We are just like Sumer, we build temples and churches, to praise are gods or god to and practice our beliefs.

              As you can see we are just like Sumer but, we live in the present. This shows that we all need these characteristics to have a successful civilization. With out a civilization imagine how it would be like today. It would be chaotic, no problems getting solved,people fighting. That shows a civilization is dire to survive and live a happy life.

my teacher wants me to write her a letter to her,but i dont know how.Then it hit me water im able to think while im in water. I told her i'll write it in my shower.  There's a problem how can i write it with out getting the paper wet?
